This is the picture I just got emailed to me while Kevin and Caleb are out at the Bender property working on their dirt bikes!!

Mighty Machines

Caleb was watching one of his favorite videos, "Mighty Machines," and was inspired to build a building out of the couch cushions and destroy it just like the Mighty Machines. He also ran around it and sang the theme song for more than 10 minutes.

3 year checkup

Caleb went to visit Dr. Belko today for his three year checkup (and two shots!) He is staying consistently in the 25th percentile for height and weight... weighing in at 28.5 pounds and 36.25 inches tall. So, he's not the biggest kid on the block. But he's ahead in every other category. Dr. Belko said that even his muscle tone was like a 5 year olds. :) Guess he's doing just fine...for a pygmy!!!

Heading out to the pirate ship 'Joshua' Sisters (notice the gorgeous blue skies and sunglasses...this is Mother's Day weekend in Western Washington...miracle weather!!!) It was our first trip to Camano Island as a family. Grammy, Poppy, Auntie JJ and Uncle Rick came too. We rented two cabins and enjoyed the AMAZING sunshine and beach. On Saturday we took a sail on the pirate ship 'Joshua'. The captain of the 'Joshua' was the perfect pirate...salty as can be. We celebrated Caleb's 3rd birthday, Rick's 30th birthday and Mother's Day. It was a fun weekend.
