Apples!!!

Caleb can sign and say "apple"... which he does EVERY time we are in the backyard. He and Buddy LOVE to eat the apples off of our little apple tree!

Uncle Ken & Aunt Nancy come visit

Ken and Nancy came out to visit from Michigan. We got to spend quite a bit of time with them. As usual, Caleb was the entertainment!

Trampolines and stripes

Caleb got to spend some time with Auntie JJ playing on the trampoline at Grammy and Poppy's. It was a fun weekend of bouncing and playing in Poppy's vegetable garden. Caleb woke up early with Mom and Dad to make it out to Eatonville on Sunday morning. He was excited to eat a rice cake on the way out!!

Caleb showed off his best attire before a trip to the store with Dad. Really dad just got him dressed before Mom woke up to correct things. But you got to admit those stripes are the coolest.

"Whack a ball" and wrestling

Caleb had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa's playing "whack a ball" and wrestling with Grandpa. These are the first of many videos to come. Enjoy!

Haircuts are fun

Grandma Rus gave Caleb a haircut tonight. He was jealous at how glamorous his Mom and Dad were (see post below), so he wanted to join in the fun. He did not think the haircut was fun at all. Grandpa gave him a bath when he was done and that made everything alright.

Kevin and Missy are glamorous!!

Missy had a great 31st birthday! She got a manicure and a pedicure and new coordinating shoes that matched her pedicure. (Talk about a jackpot). She also spent the afternoon at the spa getting spa'd. Then Kevin took her to dinner with friends. Best birthday ever! Well up there anyway. Kevin is getting back into riding his road bike for fun and not just as a commuter. He is now such a finely tuned athlete that Missy insisted on taking his picture and posting it on a blog for all to see. Webster has asked to use this picture in the dictionary for a graphic of an 'athlete'. He will be using Missy's foot shot for 'glamorous'. Notice how the flower on her big toe matches her shoes.

A Rooster, Grandpa and a Buckin' Bronco

With a heat wave hitting town, Grandpa, Kevin and Caleb decided to hit Lattin's Cider Mill. With his trip to the fair, Caleb was old hat with farm animals. However, he was not prepared for the rooster. Caleb tried to hide in Dad's knee when the rooster crowed, but he just couldn't get away no matter how hard he tried to cover his face. After getting over the shock of the loud rooster Caleb enjoyed a car ride, the goats and a ride on a buckin' bronco. (side note: Caleb is quite good at making a rooster sound now that he's FAR away from the real rooster... he says "doo!!")
