Great Wolf Lodge!!!!

On the way home from our Moses Lake weekend I got a call from my friend, Stephanie. I couldn't answer because Eli had just fallen asleep and I did NOT want to wake him up! Stephanie then texted me to ask if my family might be interested in coming to Great Wolf Lodge with her family that afternoon. Well, yes we would be interested!!! We dropped Eli off in Eatonville with Grammy and Poppy and then headed home. Luckily, my tired Caleb fell asleep on the way home. After he woke from his nap we headed off to spend the night at Great Wolf. It was our very first trip there and it was AWESOME! Caleb had a blast! We played at the water park for a few hours and then headed up to our room to change into jammies and go out for dinner. While we waited for dinner the kids got to sit in the lobby and listen to story time. It was GREAT! The next morning we played at the park until we had to leave to go pick up Eli. What a wonderful surprise! We have awesome friends! Thank you Jacob, Stephanie, Ethan and Bella!

Birthday Plans

Caleb and Auntie Kelly spent some time in conversation last night before bed...

Caleb: "You're invited to my birthday. I want to have it here at your house because I don't want to leave. I'll come back May 2nd."
Kelly: "But your birthday is May 3rd."
Caleb: "I KNOW but I will come on the 2nd so that I can wake up here on my birthday!"
What a blessing it is to truly LOVE your family!

Paperboys

Caleb wanted to help Seth out on his paper route. He even got to use the "cool bag with two sides." He told Kevin, "Dad I can take paper's out of this side and when I run out I can take them out of the back." Amazing what they make these days.Loaded and ready to go.

World's smallest fort

Kevin was trying to find Ezra and Caleb. He was calling their names and looking all over the house. He finally heard them yell, "we're in here." He kept looking and calling out for them. They were getting quite annoyed that he couldn't find them. I mean who doesn't know what "in here means." Finally he asked, "where's here?" They answered "in our fort." That wasn't much help, as all he could see were the bathroom cabinets, so he asked, "what fort?" I don't know how he could miss it. It seems so obvious and comfortable. See below.
This is the front of their fort.
This is the inside. They spent a while running (more like slowly cramming) in and out of all afternoon.
